Black and White Cupcakes

I may be banned from processed sugars, dairy and gluten, but everyone deserves a cheat every now and then. One of my cheats during the past couple of weeks was these wonderfully delicious black and white cupcakes!

WARNING

These cupcakes are ridiculously addicting! Some cupcakes may disappear unaccounted for. This may be due to family members’/friends’ uncontrollable urges.

Ingredients White:

1 Cup organic wheat flower

1 Cup organic raw cane sugar

1 Tsp baking powder

1/4 Tsp baking soda

3 large organic eggs

3/4 cup organic butter (room temparature)

1/2 Cup organic sour cream

1/2 Cup organic whoe fat cream

3 tsp organic vanilla extract

Ingredients Black:

1/2 Cup organic butter (room temparature)

1/2 Cup organic raw cane sugar

1/4 Cup organic whole fat cream

1/2 cup organic raw cocoa powder

Instructions White:

Blend all of the dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl, meanwhile heating your oven to 360 degrees F or 180 degrees C. Then, using an electric mixer (for your own convenience) mix in the wet ingredients until smooth. Once everything is combined you can fill your cupcake forms and bake for 17-20 minutes.

Once the cupcakes are done, let them cool all the way. This is crucial if you don’t want your frosting to melt off before you can have a chance to eat it or share with friends and family.

Instructions Black:

Mix all ingredients until smooth, changing proportions to taste. (depending on the climate you may need to add more solids for more structure).

Once everything is done, you can either use a knife or frosting bag to frost your cupcakes. Either way they’ll taste delicious!

Enjoy!
